Today, the medieval-style buildings are the home of our centuries-old wine-storage cellars, among the best in the Rhone Valley, but are also living places, open to all, and including a tasting area where visitors can explore the art and skill of living winemaking according to Ogier.
A major part of your visit to Ogier is a walk in our Conservatoire des Terroirs. This is an educational garden where the four regions of Châteauneuf-du-Pape are united.
Uniquely in the village, Ogier takes visitors on a journey into the geological history of the appellation through a study of the soils: limestone fragments, red sandstone, safres and rolled pebbles.
