The treatment strategy is minimalist in terms of frequency and dosage. On the other hand, a great deal of labor is required to ensure that the foliage is well lit, which helps optimize grape ripeness.
The vineyard is located on the slopes of the Ouvèze valley, near Gigondas, Carpentras and Avignon, on sandy and stony soils. It is located at the foot of Provence's giant, Mont Ventoux, and is made up of 70% Cinsault (20 years old) and 30% Syrah (20 years old).
