Silvain - Paysans nougatiers
The SILVAIN family invites you to come discover how nougat is made, all year long, in their free guided tours.
During the 45-minute tour, you can discover the family history, see how nougat is made, smell the lovely fragrance of roasting almonds and honey, and taste a wide range of our products.
The SYLVAIN family is a long line of farmers, and their history is closely interwoven with the history of this Provençal terroir nestled between the plains of the Comtat Venaissin and Mont Ventoux.
The Farmer-Nougat maker sector
From the field to the cauldron
This farming family grows almonds and raises bees, and this sector is open to other French almond growers and beekeepers. This enables the nougat production plant to have top-quality almonds and honey, and to provide sweets made with raw materials from the sector.
There is a quality charter defining the sector, and a supply contract which provides safeguards for the growers.
