LA FORCE DU COLLECTIF
In 1980, Claude Leclercq, former professional cyclist and teammate of Jacques Anquetil, put down his bike and set about creating an estate that today covers 25 hectares, including 13 hectares of vines.
South-facing, on very stony clay-limestone soil, the vineyard is cultivated according to the precepts of organic farming. The altitude (450 meters) gives the wines greater freshness and elegance.
According to historians, the Puy Marquis vineyards belong to one of the oldest viticultural sites in the region: the Gallo-Roman Villa Calvicia lay nearby, and our ancestors were already enjoying the grandiose view from the Puits hill, facing the Luberon massif.
