Cave La Romaine

The diversity of our wines is the result of a veritable mosaic of terroirs.
The spacious, bright and pleasant cellar features a beautiful "Produits du Terroir" area, as well as a wide range of appellations, including a range of organic wines.
As well as tasting the wines, discover the wine tourism offers such as guided tours, bike rides in the vineyards or oenology workshops. Throughout the year, a wide range of events are organized, including concerts with wine bars, food trucks and all kinds of entertainment.

This year, 2024, marks the 100th anniversary of the winery! To mark the occasion, we're planning a host of events, exhibitions and, of course, an exceptional centenary cuvée!

VINE AND WINE FESTIVAL DAY
Saturday, May 11, 2024
All-day events include guided tours of the winery and vineyards, picnics in the vineyards, pony rides and a bouncy castle. And to round off the evening, a concert at 6.30pm with a wine bar run by the cooperators.

SOIRÉE LA ROMAINE SE DECHAINE

This year's edition is a little special, as the Cave la Romaine celebrates its 100th anniversary! To mark the occasion, the "La Romaine se Déchaîne" evening will be slightly different, more complete, and full of surprises... With, among others, the rock band Les Namas Pamous, in concert from 9pm. Lots of prizes to be won to celebrate our 100th anniversary.

In addition to wine tastings, the estate also offers a range of wine-tourism activities:

CELLAR TOUR
Take a behind-the-scenes look at Cave La Romaine, with explanations of every stage in wine production, from grape to glass (harvest reception, vinification, storage, etc.). A wine tasting session will be offered on your return.
. From May to July (from 8/05 to 15/08/2024), every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 am. The rest of the year by appointment.
. Reservations required. Price: €5/person (ticket reimbursed for purchases over €35).

BIKE RIDE THROUGH THE VINEYARDS
Enjoy a 1h30 electric bike ride through the vineyards, accompanied by a professional guide. Observe the terroirs and landforms of the magnificent vineyard, and finish your tour at the cellar with a wine tasting, accompanied by appetizing platters.

INTRODUCTION TO OENOLOGY WORKSHOP
An introduction to oenology and the art of wine tasting. During this workshop, Marie, the cellar manager, will guide you through the basics of wine tasting, with documentation and tasting notes. The aim of this workshop is to learn the techniques used to describe a wine more objectively.
